>Almost all Type 10 planes were sent to Spain:
>Out of 129 I-16 Type 10 made, 121 planes were sent to Spain. 31 planes were sent in March 1938, the other 90 planes were sent in June, July and August 1938.
>I found this information quite interesting. One may think of “Type 10” almost as an export model. It became available to VVS only 6 months after the beginning of the production.
>Eventually Type 10 become the most produced I-16 sub-type.
>Comments?
Does anybody have a photo of Zavod 21 I-16 ID tag?
We need photo of the main, principal tag which shows “Zavodsikiy Nomer”.
A tag from a museum I-16, a tag from a wreck or a tag from private collection would work.
