Take this one:

Sir George Edwards:
"I first saw that aeroplane in 1967 when the prototype was nearly finished. There were som many things that were transperently not right about it that I said to young Tupolev "You'll have to change a lot of things. You've got the intakes and the engines in the wrong place for one. You've got too unsophisticated a design of wing with no camber or twiast for two" And although your bypass engines will help you whern it comes to airport noise (which I wouldn't have thought in Russia wase very sensitive) I said you'll lose a lot of efficience when it comes to your cruise performance.
